Not pleased to meet you, won't you guess my name?

I live in Los Angeles and was traveling USAIR to Pennsylvania. With a layover in Philadelphia (city of brotherly love) I had to take a shuttle from one terminal to another. Upon exiting I noticed the woman behind me dropped her tickets in the stair of the shuttle and mentioned it to her. She thanked me and turned around to reach 3 feet to pick up her tickets. The ground attendant refused to let her and marched her forward. I stood up for the lady and the shuttle driver who was is perfect earshot of the whole argument, shut the door and drove off. At this point the ground attendant saw me looking at her name badge and immediately turned it around. Asking her name, she refused to comply. I demanded to speak to her manager and he also refused to give me her name. He said he would handle the situation and I was dismissed. He didn't sound convincing.

Then my parents who were also traveling USAIR later in the year were stuck in philadelphia at the USAIR terminal for 48 hours due to bad weather conditions. No courtesy help or anything even though my mother is in her 70s and father who is 80.

As a complete family we all now refuse to fly USAIR. Even if it means driving an hour out of the way to fly from a different airport to fly a different airline.
